VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: This post is for educational purposes only -- it is NOT meant to pressure any of you into doing anything differently, although my hope is that once you understand better how this mechanism works you may *choose* to do some things differently -- as your time and resources allow of course.
It has come to my attention that not everyone may fully understand how Guild Raid Tickets (hereafter, "Tickets") are accumulated, so this post aims to show how the whole thing works. Since it has a direct impact on our ability to raid (read: on your ability to reap sweet, sweet raid rewards!) it's important that everyone knows about this.
First, let's clarify:
As I'm sure you know, you earn Guild Currency (to buy shards and in the Guild Shop) by doing the daily activity: "Play Hard Mode Battles", "Complete PvP Attempts", etc. The higher your rank in the daily activity tally, the more tokens you earn to spend in the Guild Shop. You also earn larger amounts of currency as rewards when a raid ends (assuming you've participated in the raid of course, even if you scored 0 damage).
But let's talk about Tickets -- the whole point of this post. Raid Tickets have nothing to do with the daily guild activity. They are ONLY accumulated when you play Light Side, Dark Side, Cantina or Mod battles -- in other words, you earn them by spending either LS/DS energy or Cantina energy. Specifically, tickets are earned at a 1-to-1 rate with energy (1 energy earns 1 Rancor ticket and one Tank ticket). So for example, if you play a Light Side hard mode battle at 12 energy, you've also automatically earned our guild 12 tickets for each raid. BTW, this applies whether you play the battle out or just use a Sim ticket.
In any single day, you as a guild member can only contribute a maximum of 600 Raid Tickets to our bank. Which is to say, the first 600 energy you use during the day will earn you GBC, and that's it. Any more energy spent that day will not count.
And what do you *do* with Guild Raid Tickets? Well, nothing . You just contribute to earning them, and their ONLY use is to start raids (which only guild officers can do). But *you*, as a guild member, are the ONLY source for earning them.
50 members * 600 coins = 30,000 Tickets maximum daily (30,000 for Rancor and 30,000 for Tank). To put things in perspective, a Rancor T7 costs 60K and a Normal Tank raid costs 80K. So it's important that as many members as possible earn Tickets daily if we're to keep raiding continually.
You can see how many Raid Tickets you've earned today by going to your Guild Activities screen and looking in the bottom left corner ("Daily Raid Tickets" panel).
As things stand right now, even with 48/50 members we barely scrape together 22K Tickets daily when we should easily be above 25K. (Yes, some of that is due to a bug in the game where not all Tickets are counted, but that only accounts for part of our shortfall). This means we can't raid as often as we could / should, so it's important to rake in your daily 600.
You get 240 "Normal" energy (LS/DS battle energy) + 135 bonus energy every day as it refreshes over time, and 120 Cantina energy + 45 bonus -- that's 540 energy total, and if you spend it all you've earned your Guild 540 Guild Raid Tickets. Remember, you can Sim the battles and still earn Tickets so it takes no time at all to do and costs you nothing (and you get tasty shards, gear pieces and other goodies in return ). Sitting at max energy (e.g. 120/120, or whatever your max is at your Player Level) just wastes energy since it stops accumulating, so spend it as it comes! And if you're like me and get the two 50-crystal normal energy refreshes to farm more shards, you easily get to the 600 Ticket daily max -- just for going about your normal gaming business. If all you do in SWGoH today is log on and Sim a few battles, it still helps -- tremendously.
As I said in the beginning of this post, we as a guild will *never* pressure you to do anything, but we're all in this together so please keep the information above in mind as you go about your normal gaming routine every day. The whole guild can benefit from your actions!

First, let's clarify:
- "Guild Raid Tickets" refer to the tokens with which we start raids. You can see how many tickets we have for either Rancor or Tank raids by going to that raid's Summary screen.
- "Guild Currency" refers to the tokens with which you as a player can buy shards and gear in the Guild Store. Those are represented by the pile of round coins in the top right of your main Guild screen.
