Heya! So, soon we'll have a new raid upon us! How exciting! But, which tier should we do first? I added Tier 4 and 7 as options, just in case!
The new raid will account for mods! The Pit raid doesn't do this, so it's a fairly safe bet that the new raid will be objectively more difficult. But, we're definitely becoming stronger as a guild! The new raid will also have characters that perform better in this raid, unlike The Pit that doesn't favor certain synergies. I think it's important to let people see each of the phases (assuming it works the same way), but also important so that we don't end up spending too much time on it. I also believe rewards will have an impact on this. We don't know what the rewards will be, but there was a short time that The Pit rewarded Mk6 mods for T6 raids. That might have been an unexpected preview of possible rewards.

I think it will all come down to the reward difference between t5 and t6. That being said, there are a lot of us that are optimized for the current raid that might not work well for the next one. A lot of people went with a single target controlling TM, and this might not work well in the next raid.
I still think we go for T6, but it might be challenging and frustrating.

I think a T6 will give most of us the opportunity to see each phase of the fight and make and share our observations about what works well and what doesn't work so well. I think you're right that it will be challenging and frustrating. If it takes us an extra day to do a T6, I don't think it will be a big deal as long as we manage our guild credits so we don't cap out.

I think we should start off as t5 just to get a feel for the raid so that people see how mobs fight and how they react to each individuals set up. Like we have been doing some people will be good for about anything and some are more specialized. If we go T6 it might be hard to Gage who will be better to push for the higher raids as if they aren't ready like a lot of people they will not get a feel because their toons are getting crushed to fast.

Im also going to say T6. If we do a T5 and completely crush it, we wont get to gage which toons work well and which don't. Another thing is that I arange my toons a bit differently in a T6 raid than I do a T5. It might be painful at first but if it takes us a while to beat, that will fill up the coffers and we can do T5s back to back.

I voted Tier 5, simply because I think that it would give more people the ability to test out various toon combinations to see who they may want to work on promoting for T6 and T7.
